About

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Hong Kong and a recipient of the Research Grants Council (RGC) Junior Research Fellow award 2026/27. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong in 2025. My research focuses on micro/nanofluidic manipulation, interfacial phenomena, and bioinspired engineering.

Interests

  • I am particularly fascinated by biomimetic engineering, exploring how plants and animals interact with their environments and employ strategies for survival in extreme conditions.

  • My interests extend to topics such as soft robotics, hydrogels, structural color, additive manufacturing, origami, and kirigami.
